Custom order policy
A custom sign has your words on it. That changes what we can promise, in both directions.

Draft — needs legal review before launch.
The non-returnable disclosure in particular must be checked against FTC requirements for pre-purchase disclosure. Do not publish it as-is.
1. You design it
You choose the words, font, width and colour in the configurator. Height is calculated from those choices rather than set separately, so letters keep their proportions and the sign is actually buildable.
Price is worked out by size alone. Fonts and colours cost the same. There's a minimum billed area of 1.5 square feet because setup and hand-finishing take the same time on a small sign as a large one.
2. You pay
Payment is taken in full up front. Before you pay, you tick a box confirming you understand the sign is made to order and cannot be returned. We record the moment you ticked it.
3. We send a proof
Within two working days we email you the exact artwork we intend to build — your text, in your font, at your dimensions, in your colour.
Nothing is built until you approve it. Changes at this stage are free and unlimited. Read it carefully: this is where a wrong apostrophe gets caught.
4. We build it
Approval starts production, and from that point the design is locked. Lead time runs from approval, not from payment.
If we hear nothing, we'll remind you after seven days and get in touch directly after fourteen. We can't start without you.
Why it can't be returned
A sign that says your name, your wedding date or your bar's slogan cannot be sold to anyone else. It is worth nothing to us the moment it's built. That's the whole reason for the proof step — you get to change your mind as many times as you like, right up until you tell us to start.
What we will always fix
Non-returnable means you can't change your mind after approving the proof. It does not mean you carry the cost of our errors. We remake, at our expense, any sign that:
- doesn't match the proof you approved
- arrives damaged (photograph it within 48 hours)
- fails electrically within 12 months of normal indoor use
Things we won't build
- Trade marks, logos or brand names you don't own the rights to
- Content that is unlawful, or that we consider hateful
- Fonts or artwork you've uploaded — we only use our own licensed faces
If we decline for one of these reasons, you get a full refund.
A note on colour
The preview is a close simulation, not a photograph. Lit neon looks different in a dark room than a colour swatch does on a bright screen, and every screen is calibrated differently. Treat the preview as an accurate guide to shape, size and layout, and a good — but not exact — guide to colour.
