Banner Stands

Roll-ups, X-banners, telescopic backdrops and feather flags. Printed, packed in a carry bag, and up in under two minutes without tools.

Choosing banner stands

A banner stand is the cheapest way to own a space you do not control. It arrives rolled in a bag, goes up in under a minute without tools, and comes down just as fast — which is why it is still the default for trade shows, foyers, careers fairs and pop-ups decades after someone first put a spring in an aluminium base.

The differences that matter are in the parts you cannot see in a photo: the weight of the base, the tension of the retraction mechanism, and whether the print is a cheap 350gsm film that curls or a proper grey-back stock that blocks light. We spec the heavier base and the blockout material as standard, because the failure you notice is always the banner leaning or the ghost of the graphic behind it showing through.

  • Retractable vs fixed

Retractable rolls into its own base and is the right answer for anything travelling. Fixed-post stands cost less and suit a graphic that lives in one lobby and never moves.

  • Widths

850mm is the standard single. 1000mm and 1200mm read better from across a hall. Doubles and triples lock side by side into a seamless wall.

  • What arrives

Stand, printed graphic already loaded, telescopic pole and a padded carry bag. Nothing to assemble beyond clicking the pole in.

  • Reprints

The cassette is replaceable. When the offer changes you order the graphic alone, not the hardware again.

Common questions

How long does a banner stand take to arrive?
Stock hardware with a printed graphic ships in 2–3 working days. If you need it for a specific date, tell us the date rather than the deadline you think we need — we will say honestly whether it makes it.
What resolution artwork do you need for a pull up banner?
Vector artwork is ideal — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG scales to any size. For raster files, 150dpi at full banner size is plenty because nobody reads a banner from six inches away. Send the largest file you have and we will tell you if it will not hold up.
Can I reuse the stand and just change the graphic?
Yes. The graphic sits in a replaceable cassette, so a reprint costs a fraction of a new unit and takes the same lead time.
Do banner stands work outdoors?
Standard retractables are indoor products — any wind catches them like a sail. For outdoor use ask about our weighted outdoor bases and feather flags instead.

Still deciding? Ask us — a person answers, and we will tell you if the cheaper option is the right one.
