Branded poly mailers & packaging: what to know

If you ship parcels, printed mailers are almost certainly the highest-return branded item on this site, and it is not close. A logo on a bag costs pennies per unit, and every parcel you were already sending becomes a branded impression — on a doorstep, in an office post room, in an unboxing video you did not commission.

The comparison people miss is against everything else in a merchandise budget. A branded mug reaches one person who may or may not use it. A run of a thousand mailers reaches a thousand recipients plus whoever else sees the parcel in transit, at a fraction of the cost, and it replaces packaging you were buying anyway rather than adding a line item.

Recycled-content and compostable films are available across the range. Since this is the packaging on every order rather than one gift, it is also where a switch to lower-impact material does the most work.

  • Costs pennies per unit

Replaces packaging you already buy, so the marginal cost is the printing alone.

  • Every parcel, every time

Branding on shipments you were sending anyway rather than an extra thing to send.

  • Recycled & compostable

Lower-impact films across the range, on the item that touches every order.

  • Tape too

Printed packaging tape turns a plain box into a branded one for even less.

Common questions

What is the minimum order for printed mailers?
Lower than most branded items, because the economics only work at a quantity you will actually get through. Tell us roughly how many parcels you send a month and we will suggest a run that lasts a sensible time.
What sizes do poly mailers come in?
A range from small (accessories, jewellery) to large (apparel, soft goods). If you already use mailers, send the current size rather than measuring the product — sizing conventions vary between suppliers.
Are compostable mailers as strong?
For most contents, yes. They are slightly less tear-resistant than virgin poly and do not like long storage in heat. For heavy or sharp items we would suggest recycled-content poly instead and say why.
How many colours can I print?
One or two colours covers most brand marks and keeps the price where the maths works. Full-colour is possible but changes the economics enough that we would ask whether it is worth it.

Not sure which is right? Ask us — we will tell you if the cheaper option is the better one for what you are doing.
